Reasons You Cannot Cancel Via "My Bookings"


1. Non-Cancellation Period:

If your booking has entered a designated non-cancellation period, the option to cancel will no longer be available. Accommodations set these periods to secure occupancy and manage their operations effectively. Once this period is reached, the cancel button is deactivated to comply with the accommodation's cancellation policy.


2. Non-Refundable Room Rates:

If you opted for a non-refundable room rate, it comes with the understanding that the reservation cannot be canceled after booking. These rates typically offer a discount in exchange for a firm commitment to the reservation. As such, the cancel button will not be active for these types of bookings.


Understanding Cancellation Deadline Calculations

It is essential to be aware that cancellation deadlines are always calculated using the local time of the accommodation provider. This approach ensures consistent application of the rules associated with the reservation terms and aligns with the hotel's operational hours.
